Just as soon as she's done with her coffee.

Awake! She's reading Breakfast at Tiffany's. It's a book, so this counts as work.

Right.

And now she's in art class. Maybe someone else could help you?

She's baaaack, and reshelving recently-returned books.

Angela has string cheese and a bagel. They are yummy.

Mmmm, post-lunch lag. She's gone back to her reading.

Work! She's trying to repair a book that was apparently chewed on by weetiny bunies.

Or else mice.

She likes the idea of weetiny bunny chewage much better.

Wandering through the halls after ACJ, he ends up in the library. He smiles as he takes in the books and knows what to go look for.

...And now it's time to wipe down the desk and clean up the library before she goes back to her dorm room.

She's proud of herself. She only wondered where Marty was every half hour all day, which is down from every five minutes for most of the last week.

Angela waved. "Hi, Cam. Playing dress-up again?"

"Greetings," he said with a frown. "I was assured that this attire is not offending."

Angela blinked. "Well, no, it looks good on you, but..." she blushed. "Anyhow. Anything I can help you with? Relationship advice is on the fourth shelf back to the left.."

[OOC: I'm assuming he's wearing sort of a jumpsuity thing, based on your icons. Yes?]

"Why would I require relationship advice?" He questioned. "Have I wronged someone?"

Angela winced. "Not really, it sounded more like you got wronged. But I apologize for bringing it up like that."

[OOC: NP.]

"No apology necessary," he assured her. "I would however gladly accept your help in finding whatever books you have with geographical knowledge, astronomy and religion on this world."

"Well, good," Angela said, relieved. "And no problem, but that's kind of half the library."

She came out from behind the counter to point to a few broad swaths of shelves. "See, that whole shelf is geography. Then astronomy is the shelf behind it, and religion is across the aisle. Any way we can narrow it down, a little?"

He considered it. "I require starmaps and maps on where we are now. Your religious book? The dieties you follow on the path to enlightment?" He asked her.

Angela gave him an odd look before tapping at the computer. "Okay. Um, it looks like the kind of maps you're talking about, for stars, would be filed under 527 under the Dewy Decimal system, which is the top shelf of the bookcase I just pointed out. Maps of Virginia would be in 917, which is three shelves back from there, though Fandom's too tiny to show up on a lot of them. And religious book ... you mean the bible? Because that's at 220. Other religions are in the 290s."

She paused, out of breath, and wrote down the numbers she had just reeled off.

"But are you okay? You sound kind of strange, no offense."

"I am healthy and uninjured," he said with a small smile that didn't look much like he normally did.

"You mentioned other religions? How many religions does Virginia have?"

Okay, that really didn't sound or look like Cameron.

"Probably as many as Tennessee?" she said. "A few more, because of the people in Fandom who have religions from other worlds, like Anakin or CallynAnders."

She pushed back a piece of hair. "Cam, seriously, are you just kidding around, or should I call somebody?" Not that she was sure who to call.

Another smile. "No reason to call someone else. I am sure that I will find the knowledge I need for class in the library. Religions of Virginia and Tennessee is a new topic for me. Thank you for your help. I will check out number 527, 917, 220 and 290."

Parker's here, working on the ubiquitous Russian homework. She'll help if you need it.

"Okay," Angela said weakly. "There should be a couple books on each shelf that'll help you."

She bit her lip, trying to decide whether it was possible for someone to grow up completely without religion, especially in the south.

[OOC: Is there a plotty reason for her not to leave a message for Jaye? Because she wants to, but I don't want to step on anything.]

Kurt walked in, a smile on his face, coffee in his hand.

"Guten morgan, fraulein Angela," He waved as he walked to his desk, and the inevitable stack of papers that today...were not going to bother him at all.

"Thank you for your assistance," he repeated and with a slight bow wandered off to the shelves she had indicated.

Zero's here, too, making complaining noises about it being too early for this kind of thing.

Parker's here, hoping to catch Mr. Wagner, and also hoping to talk to the rest of the Library Aides about the previous weekend.

Mini-pizzas are very, very yummy when made with cheddar and mozzarella cheese.

"Guten morgan to you, too," Angela said. "What's up?"

Angela blinked. Bowing? Definitely not Cam.

She went to make a phone call.

[OOC: Handwaviness is good on the book-taking.]

Angela was concentrating on getting the thinnest possible thread from her string cheese.

Ah, success.

She gave Parker a look out of the corner of one eye. "So have you recovered from this weekend yet?"

Parker thought about the photo she'd found; the promise she'd made Jarod; and the packet of information stored in Maine. "Mostly. I think. Sort of." She grimaced at her lunch, and took a bite of a mini-pizza, then swallowed. "I'm still figuring out a lot of it."

"It was heavy," Angela said. "Like, people ask how our trip was? And I have no idea how to answer."

"One thing, I wish I had gotten to meet your mom. She sounds like she was amazing."

Parker nodded, eyes shadowed. "I'm still trying to reconcile what we found out with what I thought I knew." She shook her head. "I didn't think you guys would have to learn about all that. I really didn't expect it all to come out that way." She was quiet for a second. "Sorry about that."

"You have nothing to be sorry for," Angela said. She nibbled on a bit of bagel. "So you seriously had no idea about any of that?"

"The only thing I knew was that she didn't die the way I was told." Parker took a sip of her Diet Coke, then shook her head. "The rest of it was a complete surprise. I never dreamed she knew Jarod's mom, or anything about the connection to Lake Catherine." She went quiet. "You guys can forget about it now. It's not your problem, it's mine."

"That's not how this works," Angela said quietly. "I mean, I won't bug you about it, if you don't want to talk? But you're my friend, so I can't just forget about it."

Parker nodded without looking at Angela. "Thanks." She was quiet for a minute, then said, "If you want to tell Marty, it's okay. But anyone else, I'd appreciate if you didn't mention it. For your sake as well as theirs." She finally looked up. "It'll be a long time before anything can be done about this. Until then, the fewer people who know, the better."

"I think I won't tell him until he gets back," Angela said, a little reluctantly. "I'm trying to keep my emails to him light so he doesn't get all worried, you know? And I don't want to try to explain this when he can't ask questions. But don't worry, I'll keep my mouth shut around everyone else."

"I figured you would. It's not exactly a topic of fluffy conversation, like you just said." Parker balled up her napkin, and threw it in the trash, then scowled. "Jarod made me promise to let it go, for now. Brat."

"Jarod's really smart," Angela said. "Maybe you should listen, though it must suck for you."

"Hey, do you think his mom is still living? His biological mom, I mean."

"I know, and I know Jarod's not wrong, and I got something out of promising him that, but every once in a while, it just hits me that my prime suspect is right there in Blue Cove." Parker pushed a hand through her hair. "But he's gotten away with it for seven years. So confronting him would be just stupid."

"I hope Jarod's mom is alive. He wants her to be, so badly...." Parker's voice trailed off, then she moved over to the library computer, and typed in the URL for his website, then turned the monitor screen so Angela could see it. "He put this up, hoping someone would contact him."

"And you have to see him whenever you go home?" Angela looked ill as she surveyed the computer screen. "Maybe she is," she shrugged. "Isn't there a paper trail? He's 18, they have to let him see -- something."

"I can avoid him. Or Sydney can run interference, and make sure I don't run into him." Parker rubbed the bridge of her nose. "And we'd have better luck if there *was* a decent paper trail. But he doesn't want to contact the people who'd know where the documentation is, because then they'd know where he is."

Parker pushes a full coffee cup at her, and nods at appropriate intervals.

"That does kind of complicate things," Angela acknowledged. "You couldn't get it?"

Parker thought about it, leaning back in her chair, then shook her head. "I wouldn't know where to start. But maybe Angelo can look, if I tell him about the photo with my mom in it. It might give him some ideas of where to hack into." She blinked. "And you obviously didn't hear me say that."

Angela raised an eyebrow. "Of course not," she said. "We spent lunch talking about ... dances. And crochet."

"Wee tiny bunnies. And slime. And, oddly, superhero costumes." Parker smiled. "Much of which I got photos of today."
