Advanced Phys Ed: Xtreme Edition, Friday
The shop was set up to look like a baseball field this week. A mostly normal one at that! But, who really knew where the lava pits could be hidden.
Under the plates, it gave a whole new meaning to being tagged out.
"It's spring now," Magnus said. "And that means baseball!"
"And our extensive study of baseball has told us two things, sharks make excellent ball substitutes." Not when people didn't have magic to fling them around it didn't. "And the best way to win is to use the dead."
"Angels, ghosts, maybe a lich or two," Magnus suggested. "So, I guess we gotta work on summoning or raising the dead?"
"Don't think about stealing the zombie band though," Cara said. "I doubt they're any better at sports than music."
"So, I don't think either of us are big on the magic thing, so we're learning with you." Oh no. "We should probably start with the blood sacrifices and the dark incantations?" He suggested, turning toward Cara for confirmation.
"That sounds about right," Cara said drily. "Please don't attempt this outside the Danger Shop, in case it actually works."
