The Art of Japanese Culture through Untranslatable Words; Monday, Fourth Period [03/15].

The usual classroom was empty.

Well, there were desks and the like, in their usual rows, because there was no teacher there to move them all aside and create a little circle of pillows at the center of the room instead. There was no teacher and there was no word written on a board that afternoon, there was no hot beverages to enjoy, or even a note on the door regarding the fact that there was nothing.

Because the teacher of this particular class was feeling much too chill and lazy and content to bother with something like getting out of bed that day.

Honestly, even without the influence of any little mood gems or the like, the fact that this didn't happen more often was actaully a little astonishing.

Ugh. Wouldn't it figure? It didn't take Astrid long to realize what was going on that day for her class, and while she wasn't at all surprised, she did find herself extremely irritated about it, like she should have known better, like why did she even bother coming to this class, it was the biggest waste of time she could think about, but, at least it was quiet, and she could angrily plop her backpack on a desk, rip the zipper open, grab a sketchbook and her pencils, toss the bag back down, and use this time at least angrily draw some thing in relative peace and quiet.

Still. Unbelievable.
