Cognitive Logic in Understanding Evidence; Wednesday, Second Period [01/27].

Returning to the Danger Shop for class that morning brought everyone gathered again in the Conservatory. The maid and the butler have both disappeared without a trace, and Lana's search on the upper floors of the mansion yeilded nothing of worth, most noteable no sign of the allegedly murdered Mr. Corpse.

The billiards room, should anyone have ventured that way, also produced nothing substantial, but a closer inspection of conservatory did reveal what appears to be...a secret hidden passage!

Obviously, Rosa would figure that's what the class would want to explore from here, but also, obviously, Rosa had been teaching at this school long enough to not to anything for granted, so she'd just have to see what the kids decided to come up with.

For better or for worse.

All signs seem to point toward heading in that secret passage, but there's still time to canvas the conservatory for more information if you feel there's a few stones (or pots) left unturned, or if you feel it's a good idea to try and persuade everyone to not go for the obvious potential death trap or something.

Lana had been in Rosa's classes often enough to not trust the direct route. Instead, she was going to carefully survey the conservatory for more clues, including moving any rugs or wall hangings and (carefully) opening every closed thing she could find.

The Secret Passage - CLUE, 01/27.

While the passage is dark and narrow, there are still a few faintly glowing light along the way, suggesting that perhaps the passage actually does get some frequent use. Would that explain why the carpet seems particularly worn down? Could it just be from the frequent passing of footsteps...or something else?

Either way, it's a passage, there isn't a whole lot going on in here, though if one wanted to check a few walls or listen carefully for things on the other side, that could definitely be a thing!

The Lounge - CLUE, 01/27.

Coming out of the secret passage, the group would find themselves over in the Lounge, a comfortable little sitting room with large windows stretching from the floor to the ceiling, looking out over the storm-laden grounds. A crackling fireplace makes it almost inviting and cozy if it weren't for the doom hanging heavy in the air. There are several armchairs, a large couch, a decorative rug on the floor. A small endtable with a drawer and a painting of a hunting scene on one of the walls. There is a decanter on the end table, as well, mostly empty, and, beside it, a glass, also empty, but for the last residue of some...erm, juice, and a smear of lipstick on rim.

It's almost gives the impression that someone may have been here not too long ago at all.

Honestly, setting up this whole thing based on what gets 'discovered' or explored for each class has been half the fun of it for her. Not that she'd admit that, of course, but she was starting to really look forward to these kids figuring this out.
