Have Portal, Will Travel; Tuesday, Fourth Period [01/19].
There were space suits in the classroom that day, so hopefully that would mean that everyone should guess where they all might be going this week!
Or, well, considering the class, there was a good chance that some of them would be wondering what the fuck spacesuits even were, but if Summer believed in things like learning curves, she was very bad at implimenting them.
"Suit up, everyone!" she announced cheerfully. "And please let me know if you need help, because you do not want to mess this up, even if we're only going to be needing these for the first, like, ten minutes or so of class. Because today, we're going to tap into a little bit of both the location as well as the dimensional aspects of portal travel by traveling to two locations that are the same place but are very different based on the dimension, to the far reaches of this solar system: Pluto!
"So once everyone's ready so no body freezes to death and we can all, you know, breathe when we get there, let's hitch this thing," she pointed a thumb over her own suited up shoulder, "to a place whose only relevence is thanks to a bunch of people who just can't get over galactic cancel culture."

Pluto 1: This Dimension - HPWT, 01/19.
as far as we know," said Summer, gesturing at the extremely cold landscape of just a shit ton of ice and plains and mountains and stuff. "Super exciting, right? But it has five moons, so that's pretty cool, I guess. It's, like, too cold for there to conceivably be life on this planet, but I read on the internet that the inside of the planet is, like, way warmer, and there could be an ocean down there? And if we were to go in there, who knows? Maybe we'll discover some subterrainian culture, but we are so not doing that today, that's not the lesson, although if anyone's interested, definitely let me know? We can come back and we'll do a whole spelunking lesson, I don't know. Today, we're focusing on differences, so in about five minutes, we got another portal scheduled to take us to Pluto in my dimension, and you'll see what I mean, but for now, just chill, take some space rocks as a cool souivener, don't go too far, though, because I am not losing one of you on a declassified planet. If you're going to ditch class for your own adventures, hold out for, like, an actual planet or something, yeah?"Clearly, Summer was not exactly impressed with Pluto, no.
Re: Pluto 1: This Dimension - HPWT, 01/19.
She was just going to climb up on the nearest, tallest bit of stable rock, and sit there, looking up at the stars for as long as she could.
And yes, taking a space rock or two.
