Xander is using his non-quiz time to poke the intarwebs on his laptop, encouraging them to cough up information on alternate timelines and parallel universes. He might also be looking at the Fandom Town Directory to see what exactly there is to do in this town on a... thing that you might go on with another person. That is what tabbed browsing is for.

Jenny is wandering around, and as long as Xander is quick on the control+page up, she neither notices nor cares about any additional browsing done. But if she knew what it was that he was looking up, she'd probably think it was awfully adorable.
