Creative Weaponry; Monday, Second Period [11/16].
With the yeti defeated and the treacherous mountains behind them (and themselves no longer ponied, although Amaya wouldn't have minded a few more days to really master her hammer-holding technique and to enjoy the novelty of shoe-ing herself), the class continues this unexpected journey down into the valley of Serenia, a quaint little kingdom beset with bears, bees, and pooooisonous snakes!
None of which any of them would be dealing with. Instead, what the students were getting that day were Wedzel wolves.
"Ahhh, wedzel wolves," Amaya explained, almost fondly, when their path was beset with the thin, vicious beasts, low to the ground and growling. "They migrate here to Serenia during their mating season and become particularly aggressive. They may not look like much, but, believe me, what they lack in size, they make up with teeth and meanness! They'll eat just about anything, but wary travelers are definitely high up there on the list, but, luckily for us, we might be able to find a few things to help us out here.
"Now," she added, "there is actually one thing in this world that frightens a wedzel wolf, and that's one of these." Amaya produced a candle from somewhere, because, hi, danger shop, burning bright with a blue flame. "A blue flame candle, but only when it it's encased in something like a glass globe. Some sort of natural instant to think it's the eye of some hideous beast, I think, from back when more such beasts roamed the land. So that gives us two options for today. Some of you can go about making weapons to fight the wolves off, while some of you can work on trying to figure out something to put these candles in that'll spook the wolves away. The choice is yours, but think quickly. I think these guys may have just skipped breakfast!"
