Rosa sat behind the desk at the front of the classroom, feet up, leaning back, filing her nails, until the class had mostly gathered and settled in. She then dropped her feet, leaned forward, and passed a thoughtful glance over the lot of them.

"I'm assuming," she said, althought she totally already knew, "...I'm hoping...one of you actually did manage to secure the hatchet this weekend, even with not only the planned obstacle of the superheroing class," that glance skittered over those students who shared that particular class with this one, "interfering but also that whole 'let's turn everyone into their costumes at the zero hour' thing. So, if anyone that does have the proper hatchet would let herself be known, she can take a moment to gloat about it and be added to the likes of our previous Best Badass Bitches list.

"And then," she offered, lifting up a remote control and waving it a little in the air, "we're going to watch security footage of how you all did, because there was definitely cameras rigged up everywhere up there, and that's today's lesson, there is probably always someone watching. And, if you want, we can have a little chat, too, about strategies, mistakes, ideas, whatever, about the experience.

"So, without further ado, who managed to suck slightly less than the rest of you this year?"

Yes, she already knew. Yes, she was maybe gloating a little internally because the one she was kind of pulling for managed to get it. Not that she'd play favorites or anything...but it did seem to make up for all the obstacle courses...

In victory or defeat!

You know who you are! Come announce your victory to the world...or, well, the class, and, of course, be boo'd or admired by your less fortunate or skillfull classmates to their hearts content.

And once it's known who made the cut this year, it's time for security footage highlight reel! Which, of course, would include Alexis' skulking being intercepted by the friendly classmate Spider-Man and Wayne's skulking eventually leading to him turning blue, as well as no doubt many handwaved and moddable capers throughout the week.

Of which you can feel free to decribe and add here and react to since sometimes, you just don't actually get around to it, and that is more than okay!

Because it's always good to take some time and reflect on what you could have done better, what you would have liked more of, how the system was clearly rigged, etc, etc, etc, with your classmates and teacher.

Honestly, she would have been pleased with just about anyone in this class getting it, so long as it wasn't Wayne, and she wasn't even going to feel sorry about that.

"Oh! Hey, that's me," Miles said cheerfully looking at the footage with Alexis and himself. "I think I did a pretty good job dissuading Alexis from doing something bad."

"So I will say I was tempted to go after the hatchet," Miles said knowing he was going to get a look from Rosa. "But in the end I had to do what I think was right. Which was stopping people from doing something potentially ridiculous."

Like turning blue.

Which was definitely earning Miles a bonus look from Wayne. A brief squint, though, before the squint instead was directed inward at himself, who should've fucking known better, anyway, so the grumble that might have accompanied that look was replaced with the faintest suggestion of a self-flaggelating, introspective sigh instead.

No one to blame fer that but yerself, there, bud.

Oh, look, that was her cue!

Jules didn't stand up, but she did produce the hatchet and plunk it on her desk.

"It's me," she announced. "I'm the 'badass bitch'." Though if you didn't already kind of know that even without having secured the hatchet, well...

Illyana Rasputin

Illyana had an excellent poker-face when footage of some weird not-quite-gremlins kept popping up, as they spied on people from vents, and played with some of the traps in offices. And, okay, raided Halloween candy dishes all over school. No wonder they'd been so energetic when giving her their reports.

Really, it was her fault for not explaining the concept of 'security cameras' to lower-level demons. Telling them to be sneaky only worked if they knew what to look out for.

"I decided I was more interested in seeing what other people would choose to do, than getting it myself," Illyana admitted. "I could have teleported all the furniture away to where no one else would be able to get at it, but that would be boring."

Illyana let out a loud wolf-whistle of approval and clapped.
