Er. The library's dark. The door is locked. Unless another aide is around to catch Janet not being here?

Out of breath, and nearly spilling her coffee, Janet rushed in sometime during second period.

She's finally started to get herself together. Just in time to leave for Journalistic Integrity. Oops.

Back, and just now starting to get the shelving in order.

Lunch time means another break for Janet. And the library is closed for lunch, unless you're a friend of the aides.

'Food coma' is a scientific term, right? Of course it is. Which is why Janet's barely awake during fifth period.

Janet's got books on a cart, and is half-heartedly shelving them.

Janet's not here. TA meeting. Which of course she's not blowing off. Why are you here?

Angela came in a little later. Janet might notice a wee bunny poking its head out of her sweater's hip pocket.

Angela is still lurking about. She's set the bunny on the desk and is tryign to get it to let her do some homework in peace; the problem is that it wants to hug her pencil.

"Hey, Angela," said Janet, waving. "Cute bunny."

"Thanks," Angela laughed. "It wouldn't let go of my sweater this morning, so I decided to just give it a lift."

She reached down and stroked the bunny's head with one pinky. "I think I'm calling him Gus."

Janet grinned. "Gus? Why Gus?" She leaned forward and studied him. "Though if you're going to be adopted by a pet, I think he's a good one."

Angela shrugged. "He looks like a Gus. Though I'm not sure he's a pet. He probably has, like, a while mini-bunny family he needs to go back to."

"Maybe he needs a bunny job to support them all," said Janet, grinning. "And being cute at Fandom High is a temp assignment or something. So how are things going, by the way?"

"Exactly," Angela said. She dug in her backpack until she pulled out a bag of M&Ms, one of which she nudged to the bunny.

Gus nibbled the candy adorably as Angela turned back to Janet. "Better," she said honestly. "And I think going to Delaware with Parker will help. Get me out of my head, you know?"

"If it's his job, he's very good at it," said Janet, watching the bunny's nose wiggle as he nibbled the M&M. ~~Please don't mind that I'm modding your bunny's nose.~~

"I do know," she said, smiling sympathetically. "And I think it will help a lot. Parker's a good person to have around at times like this."

Parker stopped by after tormenting Angel, and looked around for wee tiny bunnies, and waved to Janet. "Hey."

~~ZOMG, BUNNY NOSEMODDER!~~

"He should get, like, a raise," Angela said solemnly. "I'll have to write a letter of recommendation to his boss."

"And yeah, Parker's great because she never lets you just stay miserable. She always has to do something. It's very useful."

"How are you doing?"

"Hey, how's it going?" asked Janet, who was trying--unsuccessfully--to ignore the wee tiny bunny perched on her head as she stacked books for shelving.

"Do they get paid in carrots, do you think?" asked Janet. "Because I could stock some in here while the bunnies are around."

"She's a useful sort of person," said Janet. "As well as fun. I need to get together with her again sometime soon. I never see her outside of class."

"I'm good," said Janet. "Trying to get back into the swing of things after having the flu is a little tough, though."

Parker smirked, and said. "Interesting. I haven't seen you in a while, and I'm taking off for the weekend. How's it by you and your new little buddy?"

"I'm not sure," Angela said. "I bet Gus would like to be paid in chocolate."

She made a sympathetic face as Janet mentioned the flu. "Beign sick sucks. I'm lucky, I've only been really sick once since I got here. Did you have to go to the clinic?"

"I've had the flu," said Janet. "So I've been hiding away in my room. Unless you'd like me spreading germs and disease throughout the school." She glanced up, trying to look irritated and mostly failing. The bunny flailed, but managed to stay mostly balanced on Janet's head. He even did a little handstand to show off. "He seems to be fine," she said. "I can't shake him. I think he's trying to entertain me."

"Sorry to hear you've been sick. I thought you were just visiting a 'friend'," Parker put quote-marks around that. "And he is darn entertaining, you have to admit. I saw that Angel has one trying to keep him occupied in his room. How long will it take Wings to recover from the *latest* stupidity?"

"Chocolate's easier. We always have chocolate stashed away somewhere." Janet smiled at Gus.

"No, I just huddled in bed and slept a lot," said Janet, making a disgusted face. "And I drank a lot of fluids. Unfortunately, there's not much the clinic can do to treat influenza."

"I visited friends before I got sick," she said, rolling her eyes, but not looking upset. "Yeah, he's cute too. I'm not actually sure when I picked him up. How did I get the gymnast bunny? He's been doing backflips from here, over to the Collections Desk, and then back again." Janet snickered. "It's attacking him with hugs. And it shouldn't be too long, but with his recent recovery from the poisoning, I'd like him to take it easy for once."

"Then I hope tomorrow's Detention isn't the grueling sort. Dufus." Parker snorted. "Picking a fight with Anakin for-- no particular reason, God. I swear, Wings needs to take up crocheting or something. Anything. He has way too much time on his hands."

"I'm sure it'll be as quiet as detention usually is," said Janet. "Crochet? Couldn't we just ask his teachers to pile a t on of homework on that perfectly gelled head of his?"

"I'm sure Mr. Lyman would be happy to make Donna suffer." Parker grinned, then made a face. "Unfortunately, he'd probably make the rest of us suffer too. Same for Professor Tick." She pondered for a moment. "Although? There should be something as a graduating senior that he has to do. Sheesh. Maybe Principal Washburn can give him something to do."

"So we'll scratch that plan," said Janet. She frowned, and the bunny took it to mean that Janet was unhappy, and leapt to the Collections desk. It started turning cartwheels until Janet smiled. "I hope Principal Washburn makes his life hell. And Anakin's."
