There are a number of sketchpads, sets of chalk, and cameras at the front of the class.

Pair up.

Go out into the school and/or town and do Art.

Report with your art back at end of class.

"'Kay," Bridge says, and moves out into the hallway.

After shutting the door behind them and glancing down the empty hallway, Xander leans against the wall and crosses his arms. And uncrosses them. Gee, that's not familiar.

"So... I was... kinda talking to Isabel..."

Bridge's eyes go wide.

"...Oh?" he says, quietly.

"Yeah, she said you came by, and that kind of--" Xander leaves off the crossing and uncrossing for a second to rub the back of his neck. "Got us talking about.. stuff?"

Blink, blink, blink.

"What kind of stuff?" Bridge asks, biting his lower lip.

Xander might be doing so lip-worrying of his own. "Just... stuff stuff? Like... stuff I already knew, but maybe I wasn't thinking quite like...." He breaks off and shakes his head. "This is so not coming out like it was going in my head ~~while I was obssessing about it for the last three hours~~."

"I, um, okay." Bridge says, after a moment. "*What's* not going like it was in your head?" he asks.

"The part where this was gonna be coherent, I swear. Possibly even smooth." Xander takes a deep breath. "I wanted to, um, ask. If you....um. Crap, no, so not working."

"If I, um?" Bridge echoes. For a psychic, sometimes he can be kinda dense.

"Yeah, if you, I mean we..." Xander shakes his head again, exhaling in frustration, and starting to cross his arms again before dropping them at his sides - for at least a 50th of a second.

"Okay, no, hallway thing really not working. And in there would be even worse." He waves flailingly at the studio.

"Can we maybe...try this later? Which I know, I know, but not like last time there was a can we talk. Just, I can't do this here - so later, after classes maybe, or--"

Ooh, even later - that's always a preferable option when the alternative is possibly that you hyperventilate into an early grave.

"Sometime this weekend? Someplace that's not..." Xander shrugs helplessly. "...here? Like preferably a people-who-aren't-us-free place?"

Bridge's expression cycled through confused, hopeful, and finally settled on crestfallen as Xander spoke.

"This weekend?" he says. "I sort of, um, can't."

Well, who would, after that? Xander does that bridgeofnose-pinchy thing that so totally doesn't help make his brain function, but at least gives the signal that he's aware that he was just spouting complete and utter drivel.

"Yah, I don't blame you, seriously."

"What?" Bridge blinks. "No, no, no... I just meant, I'd already sort of," he runs a hand through his hair. "I'm not gonna be *here* this weekend, is all I meant."

"Oh. Um." Xander looks somehow relieved, disappointed, confused, and curious, all at the same time. "You're not?"

"No, um, the dude-" and he waves back vaguely in the direction of the classroom- "asked me if I could help, with, like, finding some stuff?" He says, not really sure what he's supposed to tell people about *why* Parker wanted him to go along. "Because, um, me with the- psychic stuff."

Xander blinks. "The, uh. Dude?" He... has, seriously, no idea why the tone coming out of his mouth has, well, a tone, that he can actually hear, above the confusion as to who the hell Bridge is talking about.

"Parker." Bridge says, with a shrug.

"Ohhhhh." And as quickly as that, the tone has no tone, because dude. Parker.

Though it still leaves Xander standing there scratching his head, at a loss for where to go from there, besides back where he'd just been, because ohgodno. "So um. When you get back, I...guess?"

"I have a phone!" Bridge blurts out, as if this were a terribly astonishing fact.

Xander, astonishingly, takes that at face value, and just nods. Because at the moment? Sarcasm has pretty much left the building. "...point. Yuh-huh. I could. Yeah. Do that."

"Cool," Bridge says. And hey, there's the dorky grin again. "Anyway, we should, um... class. Get back to it, yes."

Xander blinks. "Yeah. I--- yeah."

And heads inside to... go be in class.
