When class arrived at the gym, they'd discover that Magnus and Cara had been busy. Very busy.

Back were the jerseys! Back were the weird games! Back were the gremlins! Wait, what was that last part?

There was an obstacle course intricately designed not at all like the one that occurred yesterday because there were several dozen gremlins lurking on the floor beneath those chairs now. Which added a certain melange of danger to the mix.

Yes, kids, forget the floor is lava, now the floor is gremlins.

"After yesterday's assembly, we felt you deserved a proper obstacle course." By which Cara meant harder and more bitey.

"And man, you would not believe how difficult it is to wrangle these guys," a slightly haggard looking Magnus added. "Thank God my armor class is do high with my shield."

"You don't get shields." Mean, Cara.

"Better roll high on those athletics or acrobatics checks," Magnus said cheerfully.

And hope you didn't use dex as your dump stat.

The folding chairs seemed normal until you got closer to them. The first set of chairs led to a lava pit, the second had a spiked pit trap waiting for the unwary students, and the last... oh, the last is where the gremlins were congregating.

And, if by some chance, you made it through them all, you could go again!

This was a much better obstacle course than the last one!

Adora actually did great on the first two sets of chair, then when she was nearly finished on the third, the chair she was on folded up under her and she went flying. At least the gremlins were there to break her fall...

Illyana stared at all of it for a moment. Then, "No."

A moment later she was standing on the other side, arms crossed. She didn't know what those little demon-y things were, though she suspected they were the infamous gremlins.
