Grissom looks around the classroom, noting at least one absence that surprises him.

"I understand that perhaps I did not give you enough time to complete the assignment from Tuesday. I'm going to give you the weekend as well, but they must be completed for Tuesday. No extensions without extraordinary extenuating circumstances."

Rolling out the TV unit ~~omg don't look at me like that~~ Grissom explains that the film today is a Frontline special called American Porn, and yes, they will be watching the version with the naughty bits masked out.

"However, if you are offended by this material ~~why did you sign up for this class?~~ you may be excused, if you ask me for permission when you sign in."

[OOC: There will be people doing stuff in class today, so I ask you to read through threads if you post in the class section and not just the sign in, and if you just sign in that's cool, but don't be going off and posting about your boring day in Sociology, because if you attend the class, you're going to see plotty things happen. If that gives you a headache, totally just ask Grissom at sign in to skip the movie. (Your character doesn't have to really be offended, they can pretend so that they can go do their laundry or whatever.) Ask questions in the After Class/OOC thread. THANKS GUYS. XXOO.]

Fraser opens the door to the Sociology and steps inside.

"Dr. Grissom, student, sorry to interrupt but there appears to be a situation," he says seriously.

Bel frowned and looked up in irritation, unhappy to have the porn interrupted, but curious to see what the "situation" was.

Grissom stands from his desk, and nods quickly. "Not a problem, Mr. Fraser. May I ask what this situation is?"

"There was an unfortunate attack in town," he explains. "One of your students might be involved."

Grissom looks upset, but says nothing, giving the man silent permission to proceed.

"Thank you, Dr. Grissom." Fraser's eyes settle on Bel.

"Mr. Turner, I'm afraid you'll have to come with me."

Bel blinked. "Huh? Why?"

"The description given by a witness matches what we have on file for you," Fraser tells him. "Apparently, the victim was attacked by someone with black and red markings, using fireballs as a weapon."

"That's ridiculous," Phoebe said. "Cole wouldn't attack anyone."

"It's the description given by the witness, ma'am." Fraser steps further towards Bel. "Mr. Turner needs to come with me."

"I didn't attack anyone!" Bel protested.

"That may be," Fraser says, "but I still need you to accompany to town. I've been asked to escort you to the station."

"Am I under arrest or something?" Bel asked.

"I cannot arrest you, Mr. Turner," Fraser says. "But I'll be honest and say, I think you might be put under arrest when we arrive in town."

Bel fought the urge to conjure a fireball. His instincts screamed to fight. "And if I say I'm not going with you?" he asked calmly.

"Cole... don't...please?" Phoebe was worried and fighting hysterics.

"Please don't allow it to come to that," Fraser says. "There's no need."

"But I didn't do anything wrong!" Bel insisted one more time.

Phoebe reached out and squeezed his hand. "You'll get there and they'll realize they screwed up."

"That might be true, Mr. Turner," Fraser says, "but the description fits. I have no choice."

Bel stood up and looked pleadingly at Grissom as if he hoped his teacher could come to his rescue. "Guess I don't have a choice," he said in a sullen voice to Fraiser.

Phoebe hugged Cole.

"We'll get this straightened out," she whispered to him. "I love you. I know you didn't do this."

Cole gave Phoebe a hug and a quick kiss before he was taken away.

Phoebe watches Cole leave and then looks at Grissom.

"May I be excused? I don't feel so well."

"Phoebe..." he trails off, concerned for her but knowing his people skills, especially with teen girls, generally lead to disaster.

"I'm sure when the evidence is examined, the truth will come to light. Until then, be careful, please?"

Phoebe nodded at him, not trusting herself to speak, before gathering hers and Cole's books and running out of the room.

Paige was just staring, she didn't believe any of this any more than Phoebe did, but if there was a demon matching that description attacking people in town it was unlikely to be a good sign.

Fraser opens the door to the classroom, waiting for Bel.

"Sorry for the interruption, Dr. Grissom."
