BWI Airport Portalocity Lounge- Saturday morning

As much as Maeve didn't want to admit that she was nervous, she really was. This was big. It was a new school, a new country, a second chance that she really didn't want to screw up.

She seemed to be the first one here- at least the glittery sign told her she was in the right place, and she was a little annoyed by it on principle- so she found a seat, piled her bags around her, and pulled out a book to read while she waited.

While she looked pretty engrossed in it, anytime she saw someone pass by her eyes flicked up like she was expecting them to come sit nearby.

Nontraditional? Huh.

"Oh, math isn't that bad," Miles said kind of puffing himself up a little. "Once you learn the patterns it's not too hard. I'd be happy to help you if you need it."

"You sound like my sister," Arabella grumbled. "Which means I will definitely be taking you up on that."

Be afraid, Miles. Be very afraid.

"My pleasure," Miles said cheerfully admitting the nerd he is. "I'm not half bad when it comes to other subjects as well."

Neeeeeerd.

Super nerd. "I'm pretty good at essays and stuff," Arabella said. "It's just math. But I hope they have a debate club at the school." Someone liked to argue.

"No idea," Miles admitted. "I have no idea what this school is like. Come to think of it I probably should have done a little more research on it. I'm just hoping they have an art program."
