This week marked Luke and Leia's birthday and Padme's death, so Anakin was in a more pensive mood than usual. "Today we're going to Italy," Anakin said. "because it's beautiful and I think you should all get to learn how to drive something very, very quickly."

"Well, maybe not you, Beaker. Regardless, in through the portal, try not to get maimed."

Roadblock: Go Karts!

Drive a go-kart along the old route of the Targa Florio auto race around Mount Pellegrino. If you can complete the course within 4 minutes and 7 seconds, you receive the next clue! If not, you have to follow the pace car back to the starting line and try again, around a 20-minute wait.

Mwahahaha.

Go Karts were cool and all... but maybe unwieldy with someone Grog's size on them. He may have eaten a little dirt, but it wasn't too bad.

Well, that was... interesting. Certainly nothing Nell had ever done before. Still, she wasn't terrible at it.

Detour: Painters and Posers

In Painters, you traveled to the Tonnara Florio, where you restore a fresco while lying on your backs on a high scaffolding, as Michelangelo did according to legend when painting the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel. Once the restoration artist was pleased with your work, a priest would give you the next clue.

BUT there are only four spots available at the Painters Detour, so if you are not Rosa, Elli, Mae, or Eleanor, you need to reroute to Posers!

In Posers, you travel to Teatro Politeama Garibaldi, where you watch a series of opera performers. You then had to head back stage and match the performers to their costumes, characters, and plays in the order the performers sang by writing down the answers in a playbook. Once you get them in the correct order, you get your next clue.

Grog was surprisingly good at matching performers to their costumes, maybe because he was so fashionable himself. (Shhh don't tell him he's not.) He got a little help with the writing, which was very nice, but it still took a while.

Oh boy. Nell surely was distracted by all of the singing and costumes and everything. Eventually she managed to get it all right, but it was a near thing.

But only after playing the tambourine and dancing the tarantella well enough for tourists to give you 3 Euros in change!

Nell was sweet and cute enough that it didn't take too long for her to get the three Euros, but since she was already running ridiculously late it didn't make that much difference.
