The Art of Napping; Monday, First Period [08/03].

When the students came into the danger shop for its continual ironic use for a napping class, they would find themselves in a heavily forested mountain valley, with a quietly babbling stream feeding a large calm lake, the shores of which were peppered with weeping willows and open pagodas. At the center of the lake, accessable by a small arched wooden bridge, was a pagoda larger than the others, and there they would find the instructor, reclined comfortably, and already napping.

With, apparently, no sign of actually waking up from said nap any time soon.

So it would seem that whatever happened next would be entirely up to them, as there was certainly nothing by way of instruction coming from the soft, steady breathing of Shunsui's studious slumber.

Was it a test? Should someone wake the teacher? Should they just leave? Explore the valley? Get comfortable? Go swimming? Because unless anyone felt they could interpret the occasional gentle snore escaping Shunsui as he slept, there wasn't a whole lot of guidance coming from him today, it would seem.

Maybe that was the whole point.

Or maybe he was just going to say that it was when really he just didn't feel like instructing that morning.

It was truly one of the great mysteries one face in the journey to becoming a true master of the Art of Napping, apparently.

After a few moments of waiting and maybe looking around for the tea that was sometimes served, Freya was sort of feeling like maybe this was just a sort of...independent study day. To practice your napping skills. She was tempted just to leave and go work on skills she felt were far more useful to her, but she could do that later. For now, she might as well take advantage of the scenery to do a little leaping about, on top of trees or the pagodas or outcroppings of rocks, until she found a place to settle down at a nice height, although she didn't wind up napping so much as just enjoying the view.

And going over the exercises she'd be practicing with her lance later in her head.

Or, well, make an attempt to, as he doesn't exactly seem to be very conversational at that moment, but he's definitely there. Maybe he's expecting them to awaken him. Maybe he expects to be left undisturbed. Perhaps there is deep wisdom to be found in these choices somewhere....
