Cupcake Skirmishes, Thursday 7/9
Cupcake class, just like in the first summer session, was supposed to held in the Home Ec room. The Home Ec room, when Stark arrived this morning, had felt like a giant oven with the lack of air conditioning. While Stark was a fan of ovens, what with the way they facilitated the existence of baked goods, Stark was not a fan of being inside said ovens. As a result, the class had been instructed to meet on the beach instead.
“Welcome to Cupcake Skirmishes,” Stark said. “Where today we have no cupcakes and hopefully no skirmishes. It’s too hot for skirmishes.”
“In a usual week we’ll be baking cupcakes in a friendly competition! This week we would have been baking ourselves. The room was unbearable. That’s less friendly. No competition.” He smiled a little. “There’s a little breeze here by the water. And some shade. And there’s the water. We can be a little cooler. Hopefully no baked people, for now.” He couldn’t make any promises about anyone being baked alive outside of class, could he?
“So instead today we have s’mores!” He waved a hand at the small and carefully banked fires. “I have marshmallows, a variety of chocolates that are hopefully not overly melted yet,” he pointed in the direction of a cooler, “and graham crackers.” He looked for Karolina before adding “vegan options available, of course.”
“It’s too hot for judgement this week,” Stark continued. “So just enjoy. Cool off if you need to. And...I have cloth napkins. You may want to use them as bibs in case of dripping chocolate. Who knows when clean clothes might return.” He was down to almost nothing, personally, and may have brought all his remaining clothing with him in a bag he kept glancing at as if he expected it to vanish before his eye.

Make some s'mores!
Re: Make some s'mores!
She was feeling incredibly avant garde making s'mores on the beach artfully wrapped in one of the paint-splattered sheets she laid down whenever she worked on the wall.
Talk to Stark!
