In Space No One Can Give You Chocolate and Other Problems Solved By Cupcakes (Thursday, June 25)
Today’s class was not being held in the Home Ec room. Everyone had been handwavily informed to meet at Jeff, God of Biscuits today instead.
When Stark first arrived he was greeted with a cheerful “you’re still not dead!” from the staff who had taken to saying this every time he entered the bakery since his return to the island. Every time.
When the rest of the class arrived there were no spoken assurances of continued life but there were bakery cases full of delicious treats.
“Sometimes,” Stark said, holding up a lava cake, “a tiny cake is not a cupcake. And that’s fine. And sometimes you have a dessert because it has an amusing name. Sometimes you have one because it reminds you of another time. Sometimes those are happier times, sometimes they are times you were covered in fake lava and had to spend most of your evening scrubbing your mask.” That may have been just Stark though. “Today’s featured item at J,GoB is lava cakes. Very chocolatey. I recommend them. Enough that I may be sending several to Anakin later. Several. But since it’s our last day, for now, you can order whatever you’d like. 1 item each. You can order more if you want but 1 each is paid for. Will be paid for. Enjoy. And then tell us why you chose what you did.”

Get yourself a tasty treat
J,GoB has a delightful assortment of baked goods.
Re: Get yourself a tasty treat
"Yesterday was my birthday," he offered. "So. Birthday cake."
Re: Get yourself a tasty treat
"Did you celebrate? After the lava?"
Re: Get yourself a tasty treat
Since his wife was a flying squirrel at the moment. Still.
(He was trying not to worry too much about how long she'd been stuck that way.)
Re: Get yourself a tasty treat
Stark asks the important, hard-hitting questions.
Re: Get yourself a tasty treat
He looked down at the slice of cake he'd just ordered. "Is there such a thing as too much cake?" he wondered. It was possible he was asking the wrong person.
Re: Get yourself a tasty treat
He'd certainly made an attempt though.

"Well, if you feel like stopping by my place sometime I'm sure to have leftovers I could share," he offered.
Re: Get yourself a tasty treat
"Thank you," Stark said. He hadn't been invited anywhere in...a long time.
And someday should probably figure out where he lives on this island."I would like that."
Talk to Stark!
