"But anyway!" she said, because that was all one sentence, you guys. "For those of you who don't know, The Bachelor is a wildly popular reality television show based on the idea that you get a handful of horny singles together to compete for the attentions and affections of one titular Bachelor or Bachelorette, and at the end, they get married, because that's a totally legit foundation for an entire relationship. It's terrible, it's wonderful, we're going to watch a whole bunch of it and I'd like you to take some notes or whatever because at the end of class, we're going to talk about some of the best moments and what your thoughts are. Pretty simple. I've got popcorn, and I am really looking forward to what you guys have to say about it."

That, and it was honestly just an excuse for her to watch The Bachelor in class, shut uuuup.

Or, rather, listen to the run-on sentences. Look, Summer just got really passionate about trashy reality TV that made her seratonin skyrocket despite the blatant problematic nature of the culture it promotes!

And the Bacheloreette and several of the various different mutations of it. There's popcorn! And you know Summer spent way too long piecing together clips of only some of the best stuff. It was a difficult job, but she was happy to make that sacrifice for you guys.

Just be forewarned, if there are any season-specific questions, she does have opinions and will absolutely tell you about them.

The only time I've ever watched the Bachelor or any iteration of it was this one time a million years ago when my elderly downstairs neighbor let me chill at her apartment while I waited for the locksmith because I got locked out of mine, and she was watching it and it was supes awkward.
