Sociology of the Paranormal

Pop Quiz! On basic vocabulary and lecture topics. 50 multiple choice questions, each worth two points, for a total of 100. Five extra credit questions worth one point each. Maximum score of 105 possible, grades will be curved based upon the highest score.

"Of course," he replies quickly. Grissom glances at the students spilling out of the classroom. "Here, or...?"

"Here is fine," Angela said quickly. "I mean, it's nothing private."

"Um, the first thing is, I'm sorry I missed class last week and Monday. I had a family thing and had to go home. Is there anythign I need to make up?"

"That won't be necessary. I've intergrated an allowance for unexpected absences into my grading. But you'll want to catch up on the material through a friend."

He pauses, and gives her a reassuring look. "You're okay?"

Angela was caught off-guard by Grissom's perceptiveness. "Sort of? The other thing I wanted to tell you was that Martin Blank is away for a while. Some personal stuff came up." She bit her thumbnail. "He should be back, but he didn't know when."

Grissom nodded a little, concerned as to what exactly Marty had gotten himself involved in this time, and he hoped it had nothing to do with his past vocation.

"Well, thank you for informing me. When he gets back, he can make up the work, that's not a problem," he said firmly.

"And if I can be of assistance with anything, Angela, please let me know."
