The Great Fandom Scavenger Hunt, Monday, Period Three

Aphra had messaged her class to meet her in the park, where she sprawled on a bench in a totally professional way.

"Hey, folks! So clearly you're here because you crave a life of excitement and adventure and loot!" Or they figured it was an easy class. Or they were bored. Whatever. Aphra could work with that. "Since this is our first caper, I'm going to make things easy for you guys and start you off with just a handful of items to find."

She started handing out pieces of flimsi. "Whoever returns with all these items first is the winner, and will get a fabulous prize. Or something."

But she was happy with her life choices, Aphra! Why would she judge them?

Alluka giggled, bouncing a little on her toes, eager to get started.

The pieces of flimsi have the following printed on them:

- caf (not coffee, okay if you really can't find any caf, coffee will do), hot
- milk (bantha preferred)
- the finest and freshest pastries J,GoB has

You have your lists, now go and find it all!

Alluka laughed to see what was on the lists. Going off to find lunch didn't bother her and it was a good way to get people used to the island!

Besides, she wasn't quite sure what bantha milk was which meant, either way, she was going to learn something today.

The pieces of flimsi also got her attention. Alluka examined the material itself with wide-eyed interest for a little before, with a swirl of ruffles and lace, she went off to go 'Hunting'.

For lunch.

This was actually very easy, because Sabine had actual caf. All she had to do was run to the warehouse, and she could pick up milk and pastries at JGOB.

Or at least, she could pay them for the container they were almost done with.

Verity sorta knew about caf! And, more importantly, she knew where she could find some. Liam's old roommate Kanan used to work at the diner and had been very insistent on the differences between caf and coffee. So rather than heading to J,GoB, she headed towards the diner, calling the order in as she walked to make sure that it was ready in time for her arrival.

It was in the opposite direction of J,GoB and she had underestimated the amount of time it would take for them to find the caf, but they made up for it by also having the bantha milk {and something called nerf steaks?).

"I couldn't find a bantha, but I did milk an alot, which was a lot of work," Shuri said.

See what she did there? Do you? Do you?

"You also have very hot coffee from the barista at the shop who can't make a decent frappuccino and two bear claws right from the oven."

With what seems an awful lot more like Aphra's lunch than fabulous loot.

Okay, well, technically it's only Aphra's lunch for the first of you, since today's amazing prize is whatever the person after you brings.

It wasn't bantha milk, but it was milk, and Sabine had everything else to get here first. Go, Team Wren.

"Not sure why the milk is blue," Verity said, handing it all over. "But hey, your hot caf, blue milk, and cheese danishes."
