How To Be Civilized, Friday, Period 3
"So," Seivarden said, "We had a break last week. I hope you all found the trip enjoyable and relaxing, but now that you're back we should think about what you noticed about people's behaviour."
"Obviously most people didn't wear gloves," she continued. "But the tea was acceptable. What are your thoughts? Civilized and uncivilized behaviour? Opportunities for either?"
And:
"Anything you would have done differently, in hindsight?"
A glove-less party? Really? Seivarden could forgive teenagers for coming up with that idea, but she wasn't going to pretend to condone it. Or admit that she had been to some unsuitable parties too when she was their age.

Listen to the lecture
Re: Listen to the lecture
Possibly more than one.
(She was actually wearing gloves -- real ones, that fit and covered her whole hand and everything -- under the toilet paper. Just because she was pretty sure no one would expect her to.)
Re: Listen to the lecture
"Please, have some tea, just don't leave wet pieces of toilet paper on your desks."
Re: Listen to the lecture
Seivarden had just basically guaranteed wet toilet paper on Mae's desk. She knew that, right?

At least, that was Tisarwat's story, and she was sticking to it!
Also, she was definitely there, pondering the question and thinking of whether she'd actually admit what she'd do differently.
