Shop Class; Friday, First Period [02/28].

If the fill-in TV stand wasn't a good indication that the shop class was being treated to a substitute teacher today, then the fact that it was Rosa and her bandaged hands standing there beside it and not Amaya to help you along. And there was a slightly smaller chance of this sub blowing things up.

Slightly.

"Blackstone couldn't make it in today," Rosa explained, "and since I probably shouldn't be handling heavy equipment right now," shouldn't, it should be noted, did not necessarily mean wouldn't, "you're going to get a series of videos on how shit is made. Which might sound kind of boring, but they're actually really oddly fascinating. Anyway..."

Excuse her a moment while it took maybe a moment or two to actually manage to hit the Play button with those gauze paws.

Seivarden wasn't here to talk to Rosa. She just stopped to see how Amaya was doing and make sure she wasn't still sick and ignoring it.

"Oh," she said when she saw who was there. "Where's Amaya?"

She was staring at Rosa's bandaged hands.

Well, at least they were covered, right?

"She wasn't feeling well," Rosa offered, narrowing her eyes slightly. She wasn't surprised that this conversation was happening, really, but that didn't mean she had to be happy about it. "So I'm covering for her."

She paused.

"So she's really sick?"

Another pause.

"Can you actually do some with your hands?"

"It's fine," said Rosa, rolling her eyes slightly and looking elsewhere, as if to remove herself mentally from this conversation. "Don't worry about it."

Which of Seivarden's questions were those meant to answer?

Probably both, really. She could be efficient like that.

Don't be silly. How could Amaya do anything stupid when Rosa made sure she got some much needed rest by sneaking sleeping pills into her meat on sticks?

Rosa shrugged. "Blackstone," she said. "Her class."

Her hands, but she wasn't talking about that.

"All of it. It's fine."

Seivarden looked at her. "Because you're suck a trustworthy person."

That was a bit harsh, she knew that, but she was worried about Amaya.
