Blood Stain Removal (And Other Practical etc.), Thursday, Period 1 (1/16)
"So, hell of a first week back we had, huh?" Kennedy asked, conversationally, once it looked like all the students had arrived in the Danger Shop, currently set up like the front foyer of a two-story house. "Glad to see everybody came out of that relatively unscathed. So. Here's your scenario for the day: you were out a lot later last night than you thought you would be, and one of your parents or guardians is about to leave for work. Out through that front door, naturally, and here you come with some cuts and bruises, maybe, or you're still in yesterday's clothes except now hey, you're kinda gross, they're all torn up or you're never gonna get all that purple ichor out of your favorite shirt again. Short version, it's basically impossible for anyone to look at you right now and not think you were up to something, probably something sketchy."
Not that she'd ever been in that situation. Nope.
"Here comes the question-asking," she went on. "How are you gonna get back into the house without being noticed? How are you going to explain why you're a total mess who obviously wasn't asleep all night, assuming you do get caught, which by the way is the default assumption I want you to work with otherwise what even is the point of this class? You all get about fifteen minutes to come up with your cover story and a plan to get back into the house. Then after that, split up into pairs: one person is the parental-type figure, the other is the totally busted. Try your cover stories out on each other, then switch. Got it? Okay, go."

Because, like, sure. Sure. She had parents now.
But if she came home looking super sketchy they weren't going to care. They were just as sketchy as she was.
Now Prompto on the other hand…
Ugh.
Nina's eyes narrowed speculatively. Prompto was probably the closest she had to this scenario's sort of 'lie to get around this' person…

... just turning and running is a valid short-term option, too, but just remember you're going to have to deal with it later.
