Advanced Journalism (Tuesday, April 4 - 2nd period)

"Good morning," Rita said, looking very, very hungover. "Today I'd like you to start assembling a list of questions to ask your interviewees for your final. You may also spend the time thinking about who you're interviewing, if you haven't decided."

Rita stood up. "Get away, Mr. Crichton."

John clings to Rita's leg, wanting to be a boy again.

Rita attempted to pry him off her leg.

This was one time, just this once, that John needed Rita to user her powers and change him back so he could run like hell outta the classroom.

And, since she's Rita and mean like that, she said, "I think I'll keep you this way."

John kicks her with a wee hoof and bites her ankle.

Rita sighed and used her wand to flick him away.

Scorpius is standing next to Professor Skeeter.

"Find her weak point. Strike there."

And John, stupidly, listen. And then runs back under Rita's robes, headbutts her leg, bites her ankle, and uses the bathroom on her robes.

Rita, annoyed and disgusted, rolled her eyes and began to levitate zebra!John away from her.

John just wants to be a damn boy again.

So, he just keeps on using the bathroom. He drank a Big Gulp earlier.

"Ewwwwwwwwwwwwww."

Rory expressed her opinion on this.

And then took another picture and sent it to Aeryn.

John just...gives up. He's tired and hallucinating and this is not working.

And Rita is bored, so she flicks her wand, turns him back into a boy, and drops him onto the ground.

Scorpius sucks his teeth, standing at John's feet.

"She...is a feisty one. I wondr what I'd see if I were to look inside her mind."

"Giraffes. And Rogaine," John answers, rubbing his eyes.

"Are you okay?" Rory asked, concerned.

"Why do you ask?" John blinks at her and covers his eyes again.

"Because you're acting weirder than usual."

"Ah, concern. It's so nice to see you have a solid foundation here, John. I was afraid I would be quite bored here."

"Shut up," he mutters into his hands. "And not you, Rory. To the...thing that no one else can but that is real and is standing in front of me."

"Um."

Rory moved closer and whispered, "Is this like Steve and Vladdie?"

"No!" John whips his head around and stares into the smiling face of Scorpius. "He is standing right there," he says and points. "Smiling. Why can't you see him?"

"I don't know," Rory said quietly. She glanced at Rita. "Um. This is getting kind of old. She's not even paying attention. You don't have to keep it up."

John looks up at Rita and frowns.

"This is not for her benefit," John says. "He's standing right there. Right there."

And when Scorpius reaches out to soothe, John swats him away. Of course, it looks like he's swatting at air.

"John? There's no one there. Do you want me to call someone?"

John shakes his head and gets to his feet.

"Um. I just...I don't know. I need to go."

"Are you sure?" Rory asked, eyebrows shooting up. "I can call someone, or get you to the clinic or something...."
