Teamwork & Leadership Skills, January 14, 2020
Today's Leadership class was actually meeting, so that was progress. It was set up like a conference room, complete with white board and a projector for a Powerpoint presentation.
No one let Steve start the Powerpoint presentation.
"One of the most important points of leadership and teamwork," Steve said, "is to look back at previous events and discuss what we, as a group, did well, and where we could improve. Now last week gave us a real world example that we can all learn from, which was...handy."
And traumatizing, but "and now we all learn to emotionally regulate Big Feelings" was nowhere on the Avengers' post-mission checklist, unfortunately.
That was for your own, individual storylines.
"Things like praising people for creative thinking while also being a little concerned about how creative it was," Tony said, making a face.
"I think Dean Skywalker may have covered some of that in his class," Steve said, nodding, "but there are ideas that are a bit too out of the box."
Like demon seduction. "So. Let's start with introductions and then some self-analysis. What do you think you didhowever handwavily well last week? Where could you, personally, have improved? And what, as a group, are we good at?"
Killing creepy toys was definitely becoming a specialty, for instance.
"Bonus question: what do you think makes a good leader?" Tony added. "From your experience."
