"Would you," he proposed, perhaps to the class in general, perhaps to the teacher, whoever might have some insight, "consider the frequent vandalization of a certain transportation vehicle to be a crime? Especially if you've definitely gotten caught and all you got was a detention and not full-on legal consequences?"

It had been, like, the school's first detention in freakin' ages, though, so, you know, still kind of a big deal.
