The Ever-Changing Facets of Reality, Monday, Second Period
"We're running out of shows," Vanessa admitted to the class. "And it's Thanksgiving week. None of you want to be here, if you've figured out what Thanksgiving is by now. So we're gonna watch a movie."
"American Thanksgiving. Which is only good for awkward chats with grandma and destroying your cholesterol," Wade added.
"And for that thing we're not going to talk about in front of the teenagers," Vanessa reminded him. "Anyway. This movie is The Truman Show, which is basically a horror movie on the premise, 'What if your entire life was a reality show?' A premise which became reality for the Kardashians and tons of other crazy people like...a few years later. Enjoy the film!"

Watch the Movie

Re: Watch the Movie
And, no, he had not made any connection to this and the whole theme of the class, mostly because he still didn't really understand the theme of the class and had just sort of taken it to be 'weird random sometimes fun event!' each week.
Which, to be fair, wasn't that far off either.
