The Ever Changing Facets of Reality, 2nd Period - Monday
The classroom was set up like a bakery today, but one meant for filming. Because the teachers were damn good at that one.
"Should one of us pretend to be that shitty host?" Wade asked.
"I wanted to be the French guy who takes cupcakes way more seriously than anybody should take cupcakes," Vanessa said.
"Deal," he replied like it was only right that one of them pick that role. "Today you're gonna make us cupcakes. No, we don't care that you probably have never baked before. We're sure as hell not actually going to eat it. The theme is..."
Vanessa did a drumroll on the table before she announced, "Stuff we got at the convenience store!"
"Ooo, I hope one cupcake is red flavoured!" This was truly the class the island deserved.
"Remember, you have to use at least onehandwavey convenience store ingredient per cupcake, and you have to make three different flavors, and you have to make a giant display for them. All by the end of class." Totally doable, right?
"Babe, we forgot to hire the carpenters," Wade said. "Or program them. "
"Where are the assistant bakers?" Vanessa wondered. "Did we--we forgot them, too. Good luck, guys, you're on your own."
