US History (Monday, April 3, 7th period)
Josh had a stack of papers in front of him and a wicked gleam in his eyes. "As promised," he said, "a test on the Civil War."
1. What was the first state to secede from the Union?
2. How do you think the war's outcome would've changed if Lee had stayed a Union general?
3. John Smith: crazy, or crazy like a fox?
4. What was the Emancipation Proclamation and why should you care?
5. Pick a battle (Antietam, Gettysburg, the Wilderness or First or Second Manassas). Prove to me that you know what happened there.
Extra Credit: Give me a quote from the Gettysburg Address.
[OOC: Handwaving the answers is fine--just give me an idea of how you did.]

2. How do you think the war's outcome would've changed if Lee had stayed a Union general?
It would have been much, much shorter. Lee was the greatest asset the Confederacy had.
3. John Smith: crazy, or crazy like a fox?
Crazy Like a Fox.
4. What was the Emancipation Proclamation and why should you care?
It emancipated the slaves in America. Which is awesome, cause slavery sucks, and the abolishment makes me care.
5. Pick a battle (Antietam, Gettysburg, the Wilderness or First or Second Manassas). Prove to me that you know what happened there.
Gettysburg. There was some guys from Maine on Little Round Top doing bayonet charges, there was a bunch of people dying, and it all ended when Pickett made a death charge across a big open field against a whole bunch of union artillery.
Extra Credit: Give me a quote from the Gettysburg Address.
Four Score and Seven Years Ago, Our forefathers brought forth on this continent, a new nation... something, something...
