Lana was torn between relief and trepidation at spending time in the library today. On the one hand, she got a reprieve from having two Dark Council members visiting. On the other, she had no idea what said Dark Council members might get up to in her absence. Not that she could stop them from doing anything even if she were there, but there was something to be said for advance warning.
The books today were being quiet; if she didn't know better, she'd swear this was a normal, non-sentient library.
"You're behaving well for the guests, aren't you?"
There was no answer, so Lana shrugged, got a book, and settled down.
