Library - Tuesday, 9/17/19
Today's assault on the door to Special Collections had Delirium looking decidedly un-Deliriumlike. She'd seen a movie where the girl character matched the wallpaper and after watching a lot of video of octopi and cuttlefish she was pretty sure she had it down. Which was why there was a bookshelf-camouflaged Endless trying to sneak up on a door. Barnabas made himself comfortable by the desk and settled down to await her imminent return.
She was stealthy, she was silent, she was sneaky and then she pounced through the door!
Only to find herself landing in the branches of a pillow tree. With a small cry of frustration, she grabbed some pillows and threw them down to make a landing pad for herself. Leaping from the branches, she hit the pillows with a dull *plupfth* of sound and sank into them far deeper than the pillows actually were. When they plumped up again she stepped off at ground level. The pillows were snatched up and hauled along with her.
Special Collections got smacked with both of them when she returned to the library.
Which set off the books. She had no idea where they got the tiny pillows but the sound of hers smacking the door seemed to be cue for an all-out pillow fight to erupt among the stacks. Del watched while she lugged her pillows back to the desk, tossing them down and flopping onto them, resting her head on Barnabas' side.
