She let that hang for about two seconds.

"Ha. Just kidding. We're hitting each other with giant sticks. Let's go."

It was exciting to be the first one up, no doubt there, but Amaya was sort of wishing she had a bit more time to really get to know this weapon a little more. To have time to really test the weight and consider the balance and postulate on how much better it would be with some spikes and all the places those spikes could go.

But no time for that now! She was up, and she settled the staff into an easy grip while grinning over at Shuri across from her. "Ready when you are," she said.
