Journalistic Integrity (Friday, March 31 - 3rd period)

"Good morning," Rita said with a smile. "Today, I'm going to give you your assignments for your final, which will be due the 28th of April. What you'll be expected to do is find someone on campus who you find interesting, and conduct an interview. You will give me your interview questions for review beforehand, but I expect them to get progressively more intrusive, as we've discussed in class. You will document where and if your subject becomes uncomfortable. And from this interview, you will write a one hundred word article."

She smiled. "Questions? You may leave if you have none. And Callistie and Alex? I'll need you for a special assistant duty this evening."

Veronica took notes on the final project requirements.

"Do you have any questions?" she whispered to Logan.

He twitched his left ear.

"Can he understand you?" asked Janet, seeing Veronica whisper something to Logan.

"Yeah, I can ask him yes or no questions and he answers them by twitching his ears," Veronica explained. "He's also fairly expressive for a bunny."

She grinned. "Wanna cuddle him?" she offered.

Logan's left ear started twitching. Veronica ignored it.

"That's good. Being Logan-who-used-to-et-cetera and having the actual brain of a bunny wouldn't be fun." He had really soft-looking fur, Janet noticed. And grinned when Veronica offered to let her cuddle Logan. "Oh, absolutely. He's so adorable like this!" Twitching the left ear obviously meant 'yes.' Of course.

Veronica handed Logan to Janet.

He glared at Veronica. She smiled.

"He really is cute like this," she agreed. "But I'll be glad when he's human again."

"Oh, he's so soft!" exclaimed Janet, cuddling Logan close and petting him gently. "Though you're right, it'll be nicer when he's back to being able to share the sarcasm." She scritched at his fur. "I'll enjoy this while it lasts, though."

"It's kind of fun with him not being able to talk back," Veronica admitted. "But I'm probably going to regret that when he turns back."

Logan glared at Veronica as if to say, yes, she definitely would regret this.

"He's probably going to have to get even with you and Barbossa." Janet hadn't missed the bunny-sized eyepatch. She gave Logan's fur one last pet and offered him back to Veronica. "Good luck with that."

Logan twitched his right ear when Janet made the comment about getting even.

Veronica took him back and scritched his head.

"I'll deal with it then," she said with a grin. "Because this? Is entirely too much fun."

Barbossa walked into class and grinned.

Scarily happy pirate.

"Logan-who-be-a-bunny!" he crowed, walking over. "This be the best Friday ever!"

Logan gave Veronica a pleading look.

She smiled and patted his head.

"Hey, Barbossa," she said. "You wanna cuddle with Logan?"

Logan's left ear was twitching again. Rapidly.

[ooc: leaving work & going to dinner, back online around 7ish EST]

"O' course I do," Barbossa said with a wicked smile.

"Hello, Logan-who-be-a-bunny-again!"

After Janet had a turn, Veronica handed Logan to Barbossa.

Logan's left ear was twitching like mad.

Barbossa picked Logan up and pet him.

"Aren't ye jes' the dumbest son o' a bitch I be ever knowin'?" Barbossa crooned. "Ye be a bunny twice."

He pointed to the bunny-sized eyepatch on his desk. "D'ye think he'd be totally humiliated t' wear that?" Barbossa asked Veronica. "And if so, can we do it anyway?"

Logan glared, his left ear twitching like crazy.

Veronica covered her mouth. "Ohmygodcutesthingever!" she squealed. "Go for it."

Barbossa, ignoring Logan-who-be-a-bunny's glares, carefully pulled the eyepatch over bunny ears and covered up one eye.

It is indeed, the cutest thing ever.

Bwahahahaha.

After a bit more squeeing over the cuteness of her boyfriend-the-pirate-bunny, Veronica pulled out her camera phone and took pictures.

"I'm almost afraid to ask where you found that wee!tiny eyepatch," she said.

Alanna's bag gave a twitch and a small nose poked out of it.

Logan started trembling in Veronica's arms.

"Is something wrong?" she asked.

His right ear started twitching like crazy. Veronica looked around for the source of what was troubling Logan.

Faithful scrambled out of Alanna's bag and jumped on to Veronica's table.

Logan burrowed as close to Veronica as humanly... okay... bunnily possible.

"Um, Alanna?" Veronica said. "Can you ask your cat not to eat my boyfriend?"

Alanna stirred where she had been taking a short nap. "Wha? Oh shoot! Faitfhul! No eating the Logan!bunny." Faithful's tail twitched once in dissapointment and his paw shot out towards Logan!bunny. Then he bounced back into Alanna's bag. The girl winced. "Sorry 'bout that. Er, at least he makes a very cute bunny?"

Logan stayed tucked as close to Veronica as possible. He was still trembling. Veronica petted him.

"He does make a cute bunny," she agreed.

Alanna kicked at her bag. "Again, sorry. I don't think he would actually hurt Logan, just, um, yeah. Tormenting is more his style." The bag gave a chuckle causing Alanna to kick it again. "Can I pet him?"

"That's okay, not your fault," Veronica assured her.

She held Logan out to Alanna. "He's a good cuddler," she said, earning yet another glare from the bunny. She was going to have so much making up to do when Logan became human again.
