Fandom Gladiators Part DEUX! - First Period, Friday, 07/19.
The arena that day was set up to be pretty open, a playing field of sorts marked with several basket-like stands at various intervals. Rosa's mood was inexplicably worse than usual that morning; she felt like she didn't even know where her Thursday had gone, this week sucked for reasons she was not about to confess to, and she didn't feel like putting a whole lot of effort into things today. She thought about making everyone watch some dumb old gladiator movie or something, but, nah. This was easy enough...and was bound to turn her mood around with a nice little improvement to the rules from last time.
"Okay, so," said Rosa, "the last time we did this one in the last session, one of you was a monster and that sort of unbalanced the scales a little. Since I'm pretty sure no one's turned into a monster yet this week, I figured we'd try it again. This is Powerball; it's extremely simple to play. You'd have to be a moron to not figure it out. You run around, get the balls in the basket, try to prevent the other team from getting the balls in the basket. Two teams, obviously, teachers are Red, students are Blue. Each ball in a basket is a point, whoever has the most points at the end winds.
"Oh, and another thing. Any time anyone from any team hits the Hammer with a ball, they get an extra five points."
"...this is about the doors, isn't it?" Amaya voice drifted up with a snort. "The treuchet? Both?"
"I don't know what you're talking about," Rosa said, coolly shrugging, and gripping a ball. "Gear up, everyone. Let's get going."

Re: Powerball! - Gladiators, 07/19.
Well, he was discovering that it was a lot harder to get a ball into a basket that was shorter than half your height than one would originally think. If only it were basketball, then he'd clearly be able to work his height to his advantage! Powerball? Not so much.
And, although he did feel a little bad about it despite it being entirely within the realm of the rules, he found it was much easier for him to score points for Team Blue by just targeting the Hammer and
shamelessly moddinggetting a few hits on her instead of putting his balls in the basket. He would have to apologize to her profusely for the assault later. But for now? There was a battle to win!
...or, at the very least, a pointless competition in a very silly class.
Same difference.
