At the front of the class room there are a large number of bottles of various coloured paints set out, as well as brushes and make-up pads and handouts on body painting.

"Okay kids, today's assignment is to find a partner and come up with and paint a design on each other and I will love you all forever if anyone ends up in a pairing that goes horribly, horribly wrong."

"Good to know." Parker is not going to out Carter, but she really wants to. Smiling sweetly, she reached over and slashed fluoroscent lime straight down Kara's face, bisecting it diagonally. "Thought you didn't give a damn. I felt bad for him."

"Don't see why it's any of your business," Kara replies, putting a big F in neon pink on Parker's cheek.

Parker glared, and shook up a sparkly red spray paint can, and painted a big NULL sign (O) on Kara's chest. "He's my friend, and he was miserable. Like you wouldn't make it your business if the positions were reversed."

Just for kicks, she swipes the red sparkles on the ends of Kara's hair, then grins. Heh. That actually looks pretty good.

"Whatever you need to tell yourself, Parker," Kara says, as she dips her hand in the white paint and gives Parker a smack on the back.

Parker grabs the white and taps fingerprints up Kara's arms, too fast to be stopped, then one right on the tip of her nose. "Whatever whatever whatever whatever whatever whatever...."

Kara catches Parker's wrist as she pulls away from her nose, traces of white paint marking her. "So glad you're paying attention," she hisses.

"Now what's your problem?" Parker tilted her head, and raised and eyebrow, not trying to get her wrist back. She reached over for the blue sparkles, and threw some in the air, not aiming. "Lee's gone. You're fine. I'm fine." The grin turns feral. "Nothing left to hit you with, is there? Except paint."

"At least that washes off," replies Kara, with an answering grin as she drops Parker's wrist and reaches for some paint.

Parker grins and looks for her next weapon, and her eyes light up as she spies black-violet paint. "Hehehehehehe...."

A swipe of purple dark from Kara's shoulder, down to her waist. "Ha!"

Kara dips a brush into glittery yellow paint and reaches out to put a couple of stripes down Parker's hair. "Very nice," Kara says, nodding at her work.

"Oh, ugh." Parker's glaring at the ends of her hair, but it's only half-hearted. Burnt umber gets swiped up on a sponge, then slapped across Kara's legs criss-cross as Parker snickers. "They look like sports insignia. Body by Nike."

Kara grabs the sponge out of Parker's hand and runs it down her chest. "I always preferred pyramid," she replies, shrugging, having no idea what Parker is talking about.

Parker's giggling because it tickles, not because its funny. "We're so not getting A's on this project. Unless he thinks that free-form is okay."

She looks for the fluoroscent stuff again, then studies Professor Autolychus, asleep at his desk. "Hmmmmmmmm."

"It would serve him right," says Kara, giving Parker a grin.

"Especially, considering...." Parker picks up a tube of glow-in-the-dark icy blue, and then a small paint brush. "That he should know better."

She tip-toed over to the desk, and raised an eyebrow at Kara as she tried to figure out where to start.

"He really should," Kara replies, picking a small pot of sparkling green and joining Parker. She taps the tube against her chin, looking over the drooling professor. Taking off the top, she starts painting his nails.

"I'm thinking a mer-creature theme. Or maybe a dragon." Parker says, keeping her voice very low.
