At the front of the class room there are a large number of bottles of various coloured paints set out, as well as brushes and make-up pads and handouts on body painting.

"Okay kids, today's assignment is to find a partner and come up with and paint a design on each other and I will love you all forever if anyone ends up in a pairing that goes horribly, horribly wrong."

"Sure! I need a insane canvas." Zero dipped a brush in some fluorescent blue paint.

Rory raised an eyebrow, and then held still to let Zero paint. "What are you going to paint, d'you think?"

"A song." Zero started painting musical notes on Rory's arm. "Hmm. Needs glitter." She added a few more in glittery pink paint.

"I don't read music," Rory noted. "So what kind of song is it?"

The notes don't actually make much sense, since Zero didn't take the time to draw staff lines on Rory's arm before she started. "It's a Rory song, of course." She added a few swirly lines in green.

"Of course," Rory said with a smile, peering at the notes. She thought they looked prety cool. "And what does a Rory song entail?"

"Oh, you know, books and blue eyes and ex-boyfriends who are bunnies. Goes a little something like this." Zero hummed a tune suspiciously similar to the Gilmore Girls theme.

Rory hummed a little, too, though she was very definitely off-key.
