Wilderness Adventures (Now With More Indoor Things) - 2nd Period, Tuesday

Unlike previous classes, this brand new one was set to meet up in town. Safe from wildlife that wasn't ducks. Or flamingos.

"Welcome. Good to seem some returning faces. If you're new, I'm Tony and this is Captain Rogers."

"It's good to see you all in color again," Steve said, smiling. "Since the last session took us to a lot of places where it wasn't that safe to be outside--" and also the teachers, it turned out, weren't that good at outdoorsy things, "--we're adapting for this half of the summer."

"We're both unrepentant city boys at heart," Tony agreed. "So... City survival. Things like, don't believe anyone who tells you they lost their luggage and just needs a very specific amount of money to get home."

"Don't make eye contact with the street preacher on the subway," Steve added, nodding.

"Do always assume the worst of the subway." These were super specific thing, huh? "But first let's start with the city of Fandom advice. Important one: Don't tempt fate here."

Steve nodded again. "Don't say something like, 'could be worst. We could all be naked.' Because that's how you end up naked."

"So, let's start the day out with figuring out what important lessons you've learned since coming here," Tony suggested. "Then we'll know what not to repeat and you can make sure your classmates can share in that knowledge."

Re: Share A Fandom Life Lesson

Prompto chewed on his lower lip a little, frowning as he thought. Life lessons, huh? From the island that he had sort of wanted nothing to do with after the summer thus far? Just what he wanted out of his morning, reliving all the terrible things this island had thrown at him. But, hey, at least he got to play with swords earlier, right?

Wait. He...could actually use that...

"Well," Prompto ventured, "this isn't anything, like, specific, or anything, but, I mean, you know, this place? It has a lot of really awesome, really amazing things....but, I mean, it's also got, you know...some really awful, terrible things, too. And so, I think, one of the most important things I've learned here so far is....just...you know...when all those awful, terrible things do happen....you've really got to try and remember the good things, too. Even if that's, like, suuuuper hard to do. But it's important. To remember that..."

Yeah, the whole thing was....kind of a little pep talk for himself right now, one that sort of lost a bit of steam toward the end, but, hey. It was a good one, right?
