Today, the Danger Shop resembled an exam room, with a desk set up for each student, complete with bookets, answer sheets, pencils, and dice.

"Suprise final exam! Bet you weren't expecting this." For any number of reasons. "Anyway, because I know just how easy it is to slice exam consoles, we're going old school for your input. You should have everything there you need!"

...aaaannny minute, now, thought Sidon, as he took a moment to look up and around the class room a little, from the very confusing exam work and dice in front of him that he was, admittedly, struggling with a bit, and this headache and irritation and fever he was dealing with certainly wasn't helping matters at all, to the spots where he expected perhaps sudden ninjas or monsters or other things to fight might burst out of in an attempt to catch them unawares.

Any minute now...

....he gave a worried look at the clock. The minutes left for a surprise attack where getting significantly fewer, and he was starting to have that terrible realization that a surprise attack might not actually be coming.

And he didn't know what to do with the fact that he felt more angry about that prospect than he did merely disappointed...
