Wilderness Adventures, Tuesday

Class was once more outside! This time there were a number of fishing poles and bait waiting with the teachers once the students arrived.

"So, it's our last class and things seem... kind of normal?" Tony said slowly. "Or at least better than the last few weeks."

If you ignored the sinking dread that permeated the island. But whatevs.

"So we thought we'd spend the time out fishing," Steve said, helpfully holding up the fishing pole nearest to him.

"Now, Captain Rogers and I aren't exactly, uh, experts at this." Putting it mildly. "But we found some easy instructions for anyone unfamiliar with the process."

Wayne probably haaaaaaaaaaaated them right now. "Biggest fish wins a prize of some kind," Steve said. "...not a robot fish."

At this point, Wayne should just be glad there was no glitter.

"It's candy," Tony said. "We brought candy."

"Swedish fish!" Steve said, smirking.

The thing about being mostly blue was that, unless you were sitting in very certain light, it was a little more difficult to tell when tiny little bits of you were turning slightly gray. Sure, Vette was feeling a bit tetchy today, but that was nothing a little bit of time outside was going to hurt, right?

Maybe she was running a bit of a fever too, but who even knew on this world what a Twi'lek running hotter felt like? She was going to just stab this worm with this hook a lot and eventually she'd have this fishing thing figured out. Who needed instructions anyway?

Did....did they...did they actually google instructions...for fishing??

Even with feeling a little on edge and particularly surly and grouchy and poopy-pantsy today, Wayne was definitely glowering at his spare-parts teachers and thinking it was a good thing that this was the last class because he wasn't entirely sure he could take much more of this.

But, at the very least, there was going to be fishing. He could actually go for a little fishing right now, fishing was good for collecting thoughts and probably not a bad way to spend the class in hopes that his headache subsided a little thanks to the transformitive power that was just a good old time doing some fishing...

Something was definitely wrong with the water, though Nell couldn't quite tell what it was. But there was no way she was getting near it, even though she usually enjoyed fishing.
