Sparkly Destruction - Arts & Crafts That You Can Use, Thursday
The ever present glitter was back in force for class today. But this time it was going to be controlled. Maybe. Possibly.
Definitely not.
"So, this week continues to be weird," Magnus said. "Its almost like they forgot I was the only one who never worked for a video game website."
What?
"What?" Cara you knew better than to start asking questions. "In keeping with the theme of the week, today you're doing things with water and glitter."
"And glass balls!" Wait. Magnus frowned, getting back that gravelly character voice. "That came out wrong."
"I don't think there's any way that could come out right."
"We're talking about snowglobes, okay? Not the other kind of balls. That's a different class." That would be both amazing and terrifying for these teachers. "Different ball class."
"If you don't know what a snowglobe is." And Cara wished she was one of them again. "It's a glass ball, full of water and glitter." And terrifying scenes inside.
"It's not always a horrific scene," Magnus corrected. "For instance, I'm making one with Candlenights figures. That I can also use as a projectile in a fight."
"Anything with eyes that big is terrifying."
"Those are elves on shelves and they're not allowed in this household!" Magnus and Cara had some Opinions.
Opinions on things it was suitable to inflict on small children. "No creepy big-eyed things."
You could probably get away with model splicers though.
"Now let's get building!" Magnus said cheerfully.
Definitely not.

Make a Snowglobe
Re: Make a Snowglobe
So her snowglobe was uncharacteristically cheesy and cheerful. There were happy rainbow sparkle mountains in abundance with bright pink dinosaurs. It still came out claustrophobic.
Stupid creepy nightmare rich people dystopia town. Stupid water.

...until he was about half-way through, which was about when he began to feel so bothered by the idea that, there they were, sitting around a full produce stand, when it was supposed to be snowing and therefor the middle of winter that he just scrapped the whole thing and went for doing just the hay barn (with little him and Dary and Squirrelly Dan and Katy-with-more-clothes-on inside, since he couldn't just go scrap them) instead.
But at least this time Wayne came prepared to fight the glitter
or so he thought, all thanks to his brand new smock that he wore with an almost defiant sort of pride that would totallyTalk to the Teachers
