Shop Class; Wednesday, Third Period [04/17].
"Alright, then, class," Amaya greeted them with a nod and a faint smirk; she'd be lying if she said she wasn't looking forward to seeing what they might have come up with for their final project, "this is it. I'll let you all take a few minutes for some last minute touches and whatever you need to do to get your projects set up, but then it's time to go around and show off your machines. Simple as that, and then you're done. You've been a real good class and I just hope you had fun and learned something new and useful."
And she particularly liked how she didn't have to constantly worry about someone exploding this time around.
Truly, it was the little things in life.
"Let's get to it, then!"

And she may be realizing a little after the fact that this project had some really significant potential for some pretty big disasters. Whoops? Eh, nah, they're smart kids, they'll be fiiiiine.

And it topped off a soda glass in the process.

"Self-sustaining and everything," Amaya noted with a small amount of pride and mildly noted that that week might have been the best week for this sort of assignment, because who knew what people could come up with when they were trying to think of literally everything and anything else? "Well done, Norman. Now I guess the real trick would be figuring out a way to regulate the timing more efficiently to match reading pace."
Because just because something was great didn't mean it couldn't still be better!
Re: Present your Machines - Shop Class. 04/17.
"I guess having more parts in there to make the whole process a little bit longer would work," Norman mused. "Or having a button to hit to add a temporary barrier if I decide I want to spend a little longer than usual inspecting a certain panel. Comics are a little weird that way, since it's not just words, it's art too, you know?"
