Problem Solving through Science! | Tuesday, 3rd period
Miguel was grinning today. That was probably an indication that something was up. Hey, he might not be affected by the pollen much, but he could still appreciate a good opportunity to throw himself into work.
"Today we're building robots!" he proclaimed. "Specifically, battle robots! Here are some tips about the types of things you might want to look for." He called up the info on a holoscreen at the front of the class and waved at the pile of things behind him. "These are actual parts, not Shop-generated, and everybody should say thank-you to the lady who runs the scrapyard. Build your robots this week, continue to work on them throughout the week if you want, and next week we'll battle!"
His grin widened. "However, since this class is about solving problems, every robot has to also be able to do at least one practical thing - open cans, raise ladders, copy documents, whatever - it just has to be able to do that and battle it out." He clapped his hands. "Let's get to it!"
