Did Fjord look frazzled today as he stood on board the deck of the ship they were sailing on?

Why yes. Yes he did. He'd just spent three days as a talking animal who didn't even wear pants. He had nothing prepared for today, and for some reason when the sim turned on, there was a steady rain of confetti from the sky.

"Look," he said, reaching up to pinch the bridge of his nose as he addressed the class, "it's a smuggling ship, there's some kind of tentacle cat eatin' crew down in the hold, go ahead and do somethin' about it, or don't, I don't even know how many classes we have left at this point and I don't fuckin' care today."

Lana couldn't help but wonder what made people want to eat a tentacle cat, but she wasn't going to judge. Why would they need to take care of it?

Go ahead and bum around on the deck, explore the cabin to see if there's anything neat to pilfer while the crew is otherwise distracted, or head down into the hold and see if you can do something about the little displacer beast issue they've got going on down there.

Huh, you know, the person she'd been over the weekend actually seemed to know a lot more about ships than she did? It was all fading a bit by now, but Keyleth could remember there'd been some memories of a nautical bent in Maia's head.

It was hard to remember to be Yelden right now, but she was going to try and round up the rest of the class to go deal with the displacer beast anyway, dammit.
