When Lana got to the library this morning, she was still pulling pieces of cereal and small sticky bits out of her hair. Whatever the island had been up to with her closet this morning, it meant a lot of cleaning was going to happen.
The books, however, were happy to hop up to the desk and open themselves to explain the significance of the day to her. Which variously seemed like it was a religious holiday, a day of national pride, and an excuse to get drunk. So, a bit like the Emperor's Ascension Day. Only with less red and more green.
Lana shrugged. "All right. But what does that have to do with cereal?"
She'd be learning a lot about advertising trends today.
Meanwhile, the library was open!
