A New You, Tuesday, Period Two
"Mornin', class," Fjord drawled, looking fairly at ease as his students made thier way into the Danger Shop today. "I hope the break treated you well."
He'd woken up one morning in bed, choking on seawater. Yours had probably at least been off to a better start than his.
"Last we met, you all had an opportunity to wind down and stock up." Yeah, he'd basically just let you run free. Not every week could be an 'on' week. "You wandered the town, you learned a few things, you got some new equipment, well done."
You officially did better with shopping episodes than Fjord did.
"The Captain of the Guard still has that job for you, and now that some of the cleanup in the wake of the attack is well in hand, she's actually seeking you out herself."
He stepped back, and the simulated town around them - still showing signs of damage from the attack a few weeks prior - roared to life. A silver-scaled Dragonborn woman, taller and broader than... most of you, anyway, made her way to the group, a look of purpose in her eye.
"You lot," she said, her tone low and commanding. "What do you know... about wyrmlings?"
[OOC: Open class is openy.]

"Because," she said simply, "it's a dragon."
A moment later, she relented.
"Even a small dragon is a dangerous one. And with the gnolls growing bolder and the kobold activity a while back, people are worried about anything out of the ordinary. When that 'anything' breathes fire and has a fondness for fresh meat, people want to know that this recent boldness doesn't mean we'll have a wyrm tearing into them next."

"Would you eat a chunk of meat you've just found sitting around somewhere?"

She spoke Draconic, too, but she wasn't going to volunteer that just yet.
Re: Talk to the Captain!
"If you don't want the job, simply say so and spare me the time," she growled. "I'm no wizard, I can't just throw my voice at a whim to any dragon wandering by. What I am is busy with rebuilding efforts after the attack of the..."
She waved a clawed hand vaguely.
"Whatever they were."
Even the danger shop sims were judging your programming abilities, Fjord.

If one needed to have it explained to them why one might want to exercise caution when confronting a fire-breathing carnivore about its steady approach toward the territory of meaty morsels, they were likely beyond help.

"Give me all your information and what you're paying, and I'll think about it, if I have the time."
Re: Talk to the Captain!
"Very well. I'll have a map drawn up of locations where the wyrmling has been spotted, and I'll check to see exactly how much can be spared from the town's treasury. I suspect there will be enough to make you and the rest of your party comfortable for some time."
