A New You, Tuesday, Period Two
"Well, congratulations are in order," Fjord said, eyeing the lot of his students as they arrived in the danger shop today. You've gained a little more experience in the world."
Take a level, class.
"Learned a few lessons. Maybe about how you react to other people, maybe just about fighting. Hell if I know. I don't live in your heads." And this weekend he'd barely been living in his own. He was still a little perturbed about that today. "Seems like the captain of the town's guard has rewarded you for your... heroism," eyeing you again, Jatila, "in saving the town from the, uh..."
He waved a hand around a little. They had been intended to be gnolls.
"The whatever they were."
Gnolls would have been less horrifying.
"Today, you're actually getting some downtime, folks. Explore the town, get yourself some supplies, the captain of the guard says she has a job for you, but she'll talk to you about it at your leisure. It's relatively urgent, but she's got cleanup and rebuilding efforts on her mind at the moment, and they're taking priority."
Yes, kids. Fjord was deliberately giving you a shopping session. Even though apparently it made his skin crawl.

Prompto ArgentumSeros Glacium, with even more fanfare!Re: Sign In!
Lana BenikoJatila, now a Mastermind!Re: Sign In!
KeylethYelden, now an Eldritch Knight!Lecture!
Around the Town!
You know. Fantasy town stuff.
No Fantasy Costco, though. That's that other D&D franchise.
Re: Around the Town!
Prompto loved shopping day!!
But, remembering that he was not Prompto (or #05953234, thankfully), he did what he thought was a very valiant job of reigning in his excitement to go shopping and leaned in hard the other way, pretending to be so over it and completely bored with the whole idea of all these cool fantasy weapons and upgrades and potions and supplies and spellbooks and...
...and Prompto would definitely be having a hard time keeping Seros out front and center today. Curse you, weakness for material gains and new shiny thiiiiiings!!
He at least had to get himself some sweet new robes, though, because that was kind of a thing for him, now, whether he was Prompto or Seros (and probably as #05953234, too).
Re: Around the Town!
Jatila...wasn't sure what to do with this. Which was fine, because neither was Lana.
She was supposed to be a rogue. Maybe she could try stealing some things?
What did she even need?
Re: Around the Town!
KeylethYelden ended up just wandering around, sampling various pastries from the bakeries and gazing wistfully at the items in the magic shops.Though, just to RP her shiny new subclass, she did manage to puppy-dog-eyes one particular magic shop proprietor who seemed delighted by actually getting to talk to a firbolg into giving her a crash course in a few spells.
There. Now she felt a little less weird about playing this character.
Talk to The Captain of the Guard!
Talk to Fjord!
And really doesn't care for shopping.
OOC!
Welcome to third level, folks. You're now theoretically more experienced than your teacher.
