There was a screen out today, but Steve was also passing out sketchpads. "Today, we're using this frankly very strange movie as inspiration," he said. "They show a food replicator and I want that was something we had in this timeline, too."

And when he found out some of the students had those too, he was going to be slightly crushed.

"If we did, it'd probably solve a lot of famine in the world too," Tony added. "Also, completely destroy the takeout business on the island."

Those poor, poor delivery people.

And after their paychecks probably took a hit being groundhogs for a day, too!

"So watch the movie, paying special attention to the technology they use and then tell us if any of it seems remotely plausible," Steve said, "and then sketch out an idea for how you'd make a food replicator. We'll make them for real next week."

Tony grinned and started up the movie. Chosen just for one small scene. But at least it would be fun for the rest of it?

"At least we'll give it our best shot at reality."
