Once again, Ms. Sidle is seated behind her desk. Her puppy is laying at her feet.

"Final exam today, guys. I've enjoyed the time we've had together and I hope you've gained something from my class. If you haven't, don't say anything to that effect until I'm gone." A slight grin.

"Are you okay?" Lana looks concerned. "I know I haven't been a good friend lately, too tied up in my own issues, but you know I'm always here for you."

"Lana, no, you have always been a wonderful friend. I know you've been wrapped up, and you have every reason to be." She smiles faintly. "I found out last night how my mother really died."

"Oh, no. Phoebe, oh, I'm so sorry!" Lana looked stunned. "We'll definitely have to get together. I have US History after paranormal, but I have no other plans for the night."

"I have nothing after Paranormal, so I'll be in the attic." She bites her lip. "I haven't had the chance to tell Cole, yet."

"Okay, I'll come right up after class. Unless..." Lana hesitated. "Did you want to go somewhere and have lunch and talk now? I don't have another class till Paranormal. But I totally understand if it would be too hard to talk and then have to pull yourself together for class."

Phoebe shook her head. "You're right, after classes would be better because I don't know if I'll be able to get through Paranormal otherwise."
