Blair took a seat facing the wall, trying to get the image of punt-less Chef out of his brain.

Pippi skips the pie and takes a little bit of everything else... While looking the Chef in the eye.

"Hey."

"Pippi!" Blair smiled happily. "What's up?"

"Lunch!" she said holding up her tray. "Mind if I join you?"

"Not at all." Blair moved over his tray and notebook to clear a space. "How's things been with you lately?"

"Most recently? Pretty good." she said "How did Molly's birthday go?"

"It went good. She seemed to like my gift." He blushed a little and smiled. "So got anything planned for April fools day?"

"Maaaaaaaybe."

"I knew it. I knew you and your merry band of miscreants would have something going on!" He laughed.

There were some times Ivanova wished she didn't speak Chef. She was shaking her head as she slipped into the seat next to Blair with her only slightly boornt cheeckee put pie-a.

"Did he just say that he isn't wearing any pants? Isn't that a health code violation or something?"

"How could we forget such an important day!" said Pippi, while thinking in the back of her head. Crap! How could we forget such an important day!

Cally avoids thinking about Chef without pants, and instead concentrates on poster and button designs. She grabs a healthy amount of salad and a slice of pie, and sits down at an open table.

She wonders if anyone will join her. She's not waiting for Anders, exactly, but she always gets the feeling that people expect she is.

Pippi looked up at the newcommer from her seat next to Blair.

"... I didn't check to see if it was true."

"I like the Chef, but not enough to check myself," Ivanova murmured, poking at a lump of cheeckee that had escaped the pastry.

"That's probably a good idea." Blair nodded.

"Have a nice little nap last night?" Ivanova snickered. "I hope no one knicked what I left for you . . ."

"Nope, nobody did! I haven't gotten a chance to watch it yet, but I'm so excited!" He bounced and pointed to a notebook. "I'm taking notes on my observations of the statue and my questions about the culture so I'm prepared for the cd."

"It's like a holiday dedicated to you guys or something."

Ivanova facepalmed. "Oh, I forgot to mention. The woman on the recording is actually only half Minbari and half human. And the statue's Centauri, not Minbari." She smirked. "It's supposed to be a fertility god."

"It's certainly ideal." she said with a grin.

"Fertility god?"

Blair scribbled down in his notebook as he listened. "Yeah, after looking at it for awhile I sorta figured that was what it was for."

Ivanova raised an eyebrow. "You did? And you didn't find it odd that there were six of them?"

Xander sets a tray down at Cally's table containing... nothing that looks like it's been remotely a leettle-a boornt. So we're going with the pizza and the salad here.

He glances back at the Chef over his shoulder. "It's apparently a pants-optional day today. I never thought I would fear that concept so much until it actually came to pass. Also hey, you," he adds, looking back at Cally and grinning. "Long time no talk, not counting when you were actually Bridge."

"From an anthropological perspective, statues such as those are usually regilious figures of some sort and those who have exaggerated or pronouced physical attributes are usually fertility-based. The Blacien tribe's fertility god has hips and belly wider than she is tall. It isn't representative of the people's actual apperance, but of the idea of being fertile." Blair shrugged. "Which is why I'm sure there are six...things. Just to show that they value fertility."
