Make It Fashion- Tuesday- 1st period
When the students got to the classroom today, Brooke was already laying out a small selection of patterns to choose from.
"Hey, guys. I don't know that there's a huge need for a lecture or anything, but today you're going to make a simple shirt," she told them. "You can pick whichever one you want, use whatever fabric you want. So take the class period and see what you can do, I'm around if you need help."

Make a shirt
Re: Make a shirt
The real tough part, then, was going to be picking which material to use, because he wanted to kind of go with the really pretty blue that kind of matched his eyes, but the practical side of him that'd just gotten back from Insomnia was thinking black, black, black...
...eh, he'd have more than enough black in his life in the future. He was totally going blue!
Re: Make a shirt
And it wasn't like she had much in the way of boobs to worry about fitting it over.
She selected a couple of her jersey fabrics to use, doing a contrasting sleeve thing, to keep it from being too basic. It still seemed like it needed a logo, though. But what logo?
Re: Make a shirt
At some point when neither of them seemed too invested in the demanding intricacies of their basic-ass t-shirts, Prompto called out to Mae, and flung something toward her, in what he felt was an impressive little underhanded, behind-the-back toss. And that something was a small plastic package with
Japanesestrange writing on it, with two snack cakes nestled inside, square and white with layers of sweet red cake, two slashes for eyes and a round nose almost like a face decorating the top.She said she wanted snacks, right? Well, then, she was gonna get snacks. Weird (and, if you asked Prompto, very cool) Insomnian snacks fresh from his trip back home this weekend, too.
Re: Make a shirt
Mae had maybe forgotten about trying to extort snack food from Prompto.
Re: Make a shirt
"It's a Moogle," he offered, by way of totally helpful explanation
Re: Make a shirt
She had no idea what a moogle was.
Re: Make a shirt
"They're these creatures from my world," he expanded the premise for her a little more. "Real cute and dopey looking guys, so you can bet they slap their faces on a ton of merch. But I've also got some gyshal chips, too, if you're weird about eating faces, but, trust me, the moogle mousse is way better."
Re: Make a shirt
Re: Make a shirt
"Bam," he said. "Now you've got sweet and savory."
And, honestly, it was probably better that he didn't have too much of that junk lying around at arm's reach anyway.
Re: Make a shirt
She still didn't know, like, what the things were made of.
"Huh," she said. "Thanks."
Re: Make a shirt
They were good! That's all that mattered!
And so Prompto nodded, preening maybe a little as he felt he'd successfully met his almost entirely self-imposed duties as snack provider. "You're welcome."
Re: Make a shirt
Re: Make a shirt
"Not really," he admitted. "You just got lucky this time, I guess."
Except, well, not really luck when he'd pretty much brought them specifically to throw snacks at her.
Re: Make a shirt
"Cool," Mae said. "I don't really get lucky that often."
Euphemistically, because she was fifteen and still figuring out her variety of queer. And, well. She was a black cat.
